About the Venue

Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUS&T) has very good infrastructure for organizing mega events. Its Auditorium named Choudhary Ranbir Singh (CRS) Auditorium is well designed facility for organizing conferences/ seminars. The main auditorium having capacity of around 1800 and seminar halls; one having 250 capacity and two others 125 capacity each are fully air-conditioned, with State-of-art projection and sound systems which enables it to conduct various sessions simultaneously.. The CRS auditorium is located in the central part of the university campus surrounded by a serene atmosphere, ideal for scientific sessions

About the City -Hisar

Hisar is one of the important places in the state of Haryana in northwestern India It is located 180 Km (112 miles) to the west of New Delhi, India’s capital, It is also known as Hisar-e-Firoza. Hisar has a Continental climate with very hot summers and relatively cool winters. Though the most commonly spoken languages are Hindi, Haryanvi and Bagri, yet English is very well understood and spoken. The temperature during November is Maximum (24.7o or 76.5oF) and Minimum (8.3oC or 46.9oF).
It is an important educational city in north India having three Universities namely, Choudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University, Lala Lajpat Rai Veternary University and the Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology and number of other colleges.

How to get there?

Hisar is well connected by road and rail to most major cities of the country. One can fly to Delhi or Chandigarh (240 Km or 150 miles) international airports and then hire taxi or take Bus/train to reach Hisar. Visas are required for travel to India for foreign participants.
On the international circuit, Nearest airport from Hisar is New Delhi that is well connected to US, Canada, Europe, Middle East and South East Asia and all major international destinations by direct flights or immediate connections through Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai by all major International airlines, On the domestic sectors, Air-India, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways and Indigo etc. connect the city of Delhi with all the major cities of India. Indian Railways are the second largest railway system in the world under a single management. It has 62,300 kms of track, 6984 stations and carries 12 million passengers every day. It is also very well connected to all cities of the country.
